After being in the plumbing trade for 37 years, I have seen some types of jobs that can become a real nuisance. This is especially true when you want the product you’re selling to the customers to remain looking brand new after being installed.
Replacing hose bibs on the outside of an existing house is one of those jobs that has always bothered me, considering the only way to remove and install hose bibs (especially frostproof hose bibs), is by using channel locks to grab the outside body of the valve, and rotate the bib. After installing hundreds of them, I finally came up with a tool that will solve that problem. It’s known as the M.O.A.B. Hose Bib Wrench.
Instead of using the body of the valve with channel locks, the M.O.A.B. Hose Bib Wrench will remove or install the bib by attaching the Wrench onto the hose bib threads, then rotating the handle of the wrench to get the best momentum when turning the valve.
